Thanks! Some fantastic ideas and compositions using the human form - I'm currently posting FUSE magazine, but I appreciate these significantly better . . .

Thanks to OP Leona95, Nikon4Life and Jbgood47 for your generosity and diligence. 32 "likes" later and a little metadata editing in Calibre, I have 1~16. After I remember that it has been over half a century since I went through puberty, I look at the photos again and I imagine the location hunting, setup, the cajoling, the luck of the weather and other factors that went into the shots, not to mention the post. There's a lot to appreciate.

Apps nowadays make it sooooo much easier . . .
I remember my first use of The Photographer's Ephemeris (TPE) - made planned shoots great for getting the lighting spot-on for a specific location - peeps were amazed that we knew the perfect time of day to make them look their best. The hardest part is getting the subject at the location on time . . . :D

That sound like the voice of experience talking. I used to work in the music industry and in GP motorcycle racing. I can recall so many times we sat around waiting... The worst case was working in a recording studio in Tokyo where time just for the studio space was over a grand an hour. After 3 hours, we sent out staff to check the discos and clubs (this was in the 80s). The guy who was and is a legend, and blind, was found in a disco at 1:00 a.m. He came in, faked looking at his watch, said he lost track of time, sat down at the Synclavier to warm up and created two songs on the spot which amazed all, and won immediate forgiveness.

Out of respectful envy - please tell us if that same session also featured a future guitarist from Texas with the same first name that played a strat named "Number One" who later collaborated with this superstitious funky cat . . .

It was the superstitious guy who liked to just make phone calls to share his love and is still often heard wishing happy birthday, but he was just accompanied by his entourage. With the synclavier, he could lay down all the tracks, some would later be done in another session with studio musicians. He came to write some songs for Japanese group as favor for their help in testifying that his song was original and not the work of some ratty writer.

Now that's an iconic photo! I miss those times. There was magic in the air. The other "cat" I believe was from my home state. When I first came to Tokyo, there was disco club in Akasaka where artist performed live and stayed in quarters above the venue. When I went there was group called the Commodores and some guy named Lionel. The acoustics stank and it wasn't till years later I realized what I witnessed. If only we had digital cameras in those days, but then again, I know there was a lot of embarrassing situations for which I am glad there is not any photographic evidence.
