Composition is important to any good photo. Professional photographer Scott Kelby covers the basic rules, but then demonstrates how to actually apply these techniques in a real world setting. He shares his secrets and some trial and error examples in getting the photo you want. This class is perfect for a beginner photographer needing to learn about composition.

Most classes and books on photography composition contain the same information they did 25 years ago. The rules don’t change and most books only show great examples of photography without showing you how to apply it to your photography. In the next hour, Scott plans to change that.

    Hi!
@Nikon4life, besides asking for a possible refresh, I've noticed in the KelbyOne website that this course is from November 2023, while there was a previous one -same name- dated back on 2014, and "unfortunately" that's the one I have ;) . (By the way, your link to the original source at Kelby doesn't work anymore, it seems that point to the old course instead of the new one, located here: https://members.kelbyone.com/course/scott-kelby-crush-the-composition/).

Is your shared course the more recent version? Thank you!

Sorry for not seeing your post (this message) earlier - missed it . . .
And Thanks for the mirror @anza32

I've noticed that some material on Kelby has been re-posted with minor tweaks or sometimes completely re-done but retains the same title - I guess in an effort to stay relevant. Other sites sometimes does this as well like Phlearn, Photigy, Skillshare, and Udemy. I generally dislike to use the word, but I guess some things get eventually . . . "old" . . . ;)

@Nikon4life - you may want to reupload your version again. The version you had was the older, more comprehensive course with 9 lessons that @drac67 was referencing. What @anza32 uploaded is the current, much more stripped-down 3 video version of the course - technically called the same thing.
