Sarah Edmunds - Rose - Fine Art Intensive

At Sarah's workshop in Milan, her students challenged her to "show us how you get a gold award". Game on. Sarah abandoned the program for the day and instead the students and Sarah posed and lit the model for a single shot that she would later go on to retouch for print competition. In January 2023, the resulting print scored 97 at The Society of Photographers 16x20 print competition, with three judges scoring it a perfect 100.

In this series of 5 videos, Sarah retouches that very image, starting off live in front of nearly 100 participants, and then with her subscribing members, and finishes off the image by herself. But it's all recorded, every step of the way, and it's here for you to watch. Each video contains a detailed description and timestamps of the various steps, for a total of over 4 hours of retouching.
